YESS: Young Entrepreneur Smart Start

Give the young entrepreneur in your life a head start.

YESS is a free 12-week entrepreneurship program for young people ages 12 to 22. It teaches the mindset, business, marketing and wealth-creation skills most adults wish they had learned at that age.

Free for students. Run by the ActionCOACH Foundation and funded entirely by donations.

How it works

Twelve weeks from idea to pitch

  1. Learn at their own pace. Short video lessons each week, plus quizzes and assignments.
  2. Meet every week. A weekly facilitated session keeps students on track and answers their questions.
  3. Build real things. Each student creates a vision board, writes a business plan and records a video pitch.
  4. Graduate. Students earn a Business Basics Certificate and join the YESS Club, a community of graduates and volunteer coaches who keep learning together.
