A room of 100 owners changed everything.
Before ActionCOACH, Mary Ann ran marketing for the US division of Merz, a German pharmaceutical company. She shaped clinical trials so the science backed the marketing message, then launched those campaigns in markets around the world.
When she left, she took time with family and planned to start a consulting firm. Then ActionCOACH found her. She went to one local event with about 100 business owners in the room, and she was shocked. They knew their trade inside and out. But marketing, finance, management, leadership? Almost nothing. Nobody had ever taught them how to grow.
Back then there were plenty of life coaches and hardly any women coaching business. She hadn't even been through the ActionCOACH training yet, and still those owners leaned in to what she had to offer. She bought her franchise that week and hasn't looked back.
